2007 - LVRRS MUSEUM - EDUCATIONAL PUBLIC EVENT
The Las Vegas Railroad Society provided this 1.5" scale live steam steam locomotive for public display in 2007, educating the public about the concept of machining and discussing Las Vegas' railroad heritage with the Las Vegas community at a local building, with provided space by the Church of Scientology. / Trudy Platzer, Founding Chairman LVRRS was embraced by the public during this church event.

2006 - LVRRS MUSEUM - PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO LOCAL SCHOOL

LVRRS volunteered and provided educational program activities to 200 students of this public elementary school.

2009 - LVRRS MUSEUM - PROVIDING MORE PROGRAMS TO LOCAL SCHOOLS
LVRRS provided educational program activities to dozens and dozens of students of a local school during the annual Nevada Day celebration. Reading train stories to their students and pointing out that Trains Where Here First!
Trudy Platzer, LVRRS Founding Chairman LVRRS was once again embraced by the teachers for planning such a unique cultural addition to the community and for students of our local schools.

The Las Vegas Railroad Society provided computer education and other educational program activities throughout the entire year of 2009 and 2010 to help and support Las Vegas' young business professionals during these difficult economic times of the world-wide recession.
